-Born in August 1988 in Geneva Switzerland, Sista Maysa grew up in a Musical Family. Raised by her Grand-Mother, Miss Fanni Jones (born in Scotch Plains/NJ, Negro-Spirituals and Classical/ Gospel Singer She sang for former USA president Eisenhauer...).

Her Grand-Father Marcel Retchitzky (born in GVA Switzerland from ukrainian parents is a Classical Music composer-songwriter) not to mention her mother, auties and oncles who all are related to the musical field !

Sista Maysa is following her path!

 

She started first as a back-up singer and has met a few great artists such as Jah Mason, Wayne Marshall, Capleton or Brother Culture.

 

 Reggae, Dancehall, Hip-Hop, Soul, she knows how to adapt her unique flow to any Styles of music and it's a real pleasure to listen !
